2020 Hindsight Marketing Inc. (“we,” “us,” “our”) is a social media marketing and operational logistics agency based in New York City. We serve restaurant clients on a B2B basis. We do not sell products or process consumer payments.

Information We Collect

We collect information only from businesses and professionals who voluntarily engage with us:

Contact form submissions: When you submit our website contact form, we collect your name, email address, restaurant name, and message. This information is transmitted via Resend (our email delivery provider) and used solely to respond to your inquiry.

Business communications: When you communicate with us via phone, SMS, or email in the course of a service engagement, we collect contact information (name, phone number, email), communication records (text messages, call logs, voicemail transcriptions), and service request details (project specifications, deadlines, reference materials) that you provide.

Vendor and freelancer information: When we engage with vendors, freelancers, or suppliers, we collect rates, availability, and invoicing information shared during the course of business.

Hosting and analytics: Our website is hosted on Vercel. Vercel collects standard server logs (IP addresses, browser type, pages visited) as part of normal web hosting operations. We do not use cookies for tracking purposes.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to respond to business inquiries submitted through our contact form, coordinate and deliver marketing services for our restaurant clients, communicate with clients, vendors, and partners via SMS, phone, and email regarding active service engagements, and maintain internal records for quality assurance and operational continuity.

SMS and Phone Communication

We use SMS text messaging and phone calls to coordinate services with our restaurant clients, vendors, and freelance partners.

When it applies: SMS and phone communication occurs only with businesses and professionals we have an active or prospective service relationship with. We do not send unsolicited messages to consumers.

Message frequency:Varies based on active service requests. Typically 1–10 messages per interaction.

Message content: Service coordination only — task requests, project updates, scheduling, and delivery confirmations. We do not send marketing promotions or advertisements via SMS.

Opt-out: You may stop receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from our business number, or by contacting us directly. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.

Call recording: Phone calls may be recorded or transcribed for quality assurance and operational purposes. We will notify you if a call is being recorded.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties.

We may share information with team members within our agency who need it to fulfill your service request, third-party service providers that facilitate our operations (email delivery via Resend, website hosting via Vercel, telephony platforms for SMS and voice) subject to their respective privacy policies, and legal authorities when required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we collect. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain business communication records and service request data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by applicable law. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us.

What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect consumer data. We do not use tracking cookies. We do not process payments through our website. We do not collect sensitive personal information (Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, health information).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
